Why do you write?
I don’t altogether know, it’s way of trying to make sense of the world I guess; a bit like having a compulsion to playing one-armed bandits, fruit machines, but with words spinning on the reels.
What books do you read?
All sorts, but mostly creative non-fiction. Recently I’ve been dipping into Savage Messiah by Laura Oldfield-Ford, not suitable for domestic sublimation by Jennifer Cooke, Happiness by Sean Bonney, Luxury of the Dispossessed by Dan Duggan, Bad Vibes by Luke Haines, Chelsea Hotel Manhattan by Joe Ambrose, charlieunclenorfolktango by Tony White, Outside Looking On by Chimene Suleyman, Place by Allen Fisher, Forms of Protest by Hannah Silva, Hacker, Hoaxer, Whistleblower, Spy by Gabrielle Coleman, various texts by Iain Sinclair, Enthusiasm by SJ Fowler.
