As part of the Place, Waste and Dissent project and drift along the A12 from Redbridge to Leyton tracking what was the M11 Link Road with publisher and editor Gary Budden of Influx Press and poet/best friend/camera wizard Sarer Scotthorne. Someone suggested I read some poems from Claremont Road (2013 Erbacce Press) whilst standing in what is left of Claremont Road, Leyton E11.
So I did.

It was emotional.
We laughed, we cried, we smoked and we thought about place, waste and dissent – all the time remembering, remembering, remembering…
